At Claire Flowers we strive to produce shoes that will last a lifetime, but with enough wear any shoe will need a little freshening up. This is why we offer Fresh Flowers, a complimentary cleaning/repair service on any Claire Flowers shoes. All Claire Flowers leather products are tanned using vegetable tanning as opposed to chrome tanning. While this is a slower practice, it is much more sustainable, using renewable sources and less energy. As opposed to chrome tanning, vegetable tanning does not produce toxic waste, does not use heavy metals, and is biodegradable. We hope that with this practice, we can do our part in creating a more sustainable future in women's footwear and accessories.

 

All Claire Flowers shoes are Handmade by Artisans from either Brazil or Italy, depending on the techniques and materials needed to create the design. Most of our Italian shoes are displayed with our Claire Flowers Bees.
